General guidelines for abstracts submission

Abstracts must be submitted using exclusively the online abstract submission form you will find in this website. Abstracts submitted by email or fax will not be accepted. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered. Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for its publication in the conference programme and online abstract supplement of the Cardiovascular Research Journal. If accepted, your abstract will be published as submitted.

The Presenting author must be the Contact author in the submission form and he/she must be listed the first in the list of authors. Please make sure you have enter the full list of authors and that the information given for each author is correct. The authors’ order and details will be published as entered by the submitter.

Each Presenting author can submit a maximum of three (3) abstracts. The Presenting author must register for the EuroThrombosis & EuroVessels 2021 conference before 13 October 2021 to ensure the abstract is scheduled for presentation and included in the programme and online abstract supplement.

Authors will be required to indicate whether oral or poster presentation is preferred and to select a topic. The final type of presentation and session will be determined by the conference scientific committee after the reviewing process.

Special characters, symbols and super and sub-script are accepted following the next rule: type them in Word and copy-paste them into the title field.

Abstracts must not exceed 250 words and must be submitted in English. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented in the same form at any other meeting. Abstracts stating ‘data will be discussed in the presentation’ or similar will not be accepted. The abstract body must not include any indication of the personal details of authors.

The information collected is used to process the abstract submission, ensuring that you receive the information on abstract notification (acceptance/rejection) and that you receive a presentation certificate. Any personal data will be only used in accordance with the current EU data protection legislation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the delegate’s written consent to

The authors automatically  authorise the Organisation to publish their abstracts in the book of abstracts and in any medical publishing that the Organisation might consider relevant.

How to use the online abstract submission form

First of all, you will be required to Create a ‘New Account’ to sign into your personal portal. An email with your login details will be sent automatically by the system. Evaluation and acceptance

The conference scientific committee reserves the right to reallocate abstracts in a different topic and to decide the final type of presentation. Authors will be notified by email whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected. The final reference number and session assigned to each oral/poster will be notified by e-mail early October 2021.
